There are new restrictions on the Wednesday & Saturday use of the Cherry Street Public Parking Lot.Please note 2 new, signs posted “RESERVED FOR FARMER’S MARKET” 3 A.M. – 12 P.M. VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWEDThis applies to vehicles parked on the lower portion of the lot (closest to State of Franklin)and below the concrete divider. I'm not complaining - I love downtown JC and was a volunteer for years before joining the Johnson City Development Authority (JCDA) staff.How did using the Recycling Bins work out? Recycle for Downtown

Tomorrow will be the first day for our regular pickup of our new recycling bin. I hate to put the bin out on the sidewalk tonight but that was our instructions for pick up. Sure hope this works as I see a lot of stuff in the dumpster that could/should be recycled.
